2. How do I care for my child’s organic cotton clothing?
Caring for organic cotton is simple, we recommend machine washing inside out, on a gentle cycle with cold water and using a mild detergent. This helps maintain the natural softness of the fabric and prevents shrinkage. Use the air dry option when tumble drying.
There’s no need for fabric softener—our organic cotton is made from long-staple, high-quality fibres that are naturally soft and durable. Fabric softeners can actually coat the fibres and reduce breathability, so it's best to skip them entirely.

5. Are Canada Star clothes pre-shrunk?
Our garments are made using compacted 100% organic cotton fabric, which means the fabric has been gently compressed during production to reduce shrinkage and improve durability.
This process helps the garment hold its shape wash after wash, so you don’t have to worry about twisting, warping, or unexpected size changes—just a soft, comfy fit your child can enjoy every time.
